No overseas training camp for Suns as they wait for new coach
No overseas altitude training camp for Gold Coast this summer
GOLD Coast has abandoned its pre-season altitude training camp in the United States to allow the club's new coach more time to work with his players and coaching staff.
The Suns were scheduled to fly to Wyoming in the first week of December but the club has cancelled the trip, with a preference for an intense pre-Christmas training block.
It is expected the new coach will be in place by early November, but the coaching appointment will not be rushed.
