The AFL wishes to advise Melbourne and Western Bulldogs head coaches Paul Roos and Brendan McCartney, AFL General Manager People, Customer and Community Dorothy Hisgrove and Breast Cancer Network Australia CEO Maxine Morand will be joined by breast cancer survivors on the MCG tomorrow, Tuesday May 6, ahead of Saturday’s special event, Field of Women 2014.
Field of Women is a powerful human display that brings the statistics of breast cancer to life. 15,000 participants will stand on the MCG before Melbourne v Western Bulldogs in pink ponchos and 125 in blue to represent the growing number of Australians who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Network Australia to ensure it can continue its work supporting Australians with breast cancer and their families.
Paul Roos and Brendan McCartney will be available to media, alongside BCNA members and breast cancer survivors Jane Scoble (Demons fan) and Annette Sparks (Bulldogs fan) at 1:45pm on the MCG.

Breast Cancer Network Australia is a longstanding community partner of the AFL. This will be the fourth time a pink lady will be formed on field before an AFL game.
