The Gold Coast SUNS are firing up for the 2015 AFL season and are seeking a creative, team oriented Brand Manager.

The Brand Manager is responsible for managing, developing and protecting the GC SUNS brand. You will work closely with all departments within the Club to assist in the delivery of marketing activity created to achieve each department’s individual goals. It is essential that the successful Brand Manager will have the ability to manage and lead a direct report.

Reporting to the Head of Content & Marketing Services you will work across a broad range of key marketing platforms including direct, broadcast and digital marketing, communications and production. You will manage all brand marketing activities and projects related to membership, fan development, events, community, stadium and sponsorship.

Selection Criteria:

  • A strong personal brand which personifies the Gold Coast SUNS values of bold, fresh, relentless, dependable and community
  • Proven strong tactical marketing experience across traditional and new media
  • Proven experience in managing effective marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing and business disciplines
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple priorities at once;
  • Basic to intermediate skills in InDesign and/or Photoshop (desirable);
  • Degree qualifications in Marketing;
  • Passionate, with an understanding of the AFL and the GC SUNS.
