The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for management of the competitions contained within the South East Football Netball League. This 9 club league encompasses 33 football teams and nearly 100 netball teams across the municipalities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.
Key responsibilities will include:
- League administration
- Competition management
- Financial management and budgeting
- Management of finals and representative matches
- Marketing and promotion
- Facilitate volunteer, club and player education and training
- Assist with infrastructure planning
- Preparation of reports
We seek a self motivated individual with:
- Sports management or suitable work experience in related field/s
- Capacity to influence people and organisations
- Ability to manage demanding workloads and prioritise
- Tertiary qualifications in sports management or business (desired)
- Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficient knowledge of the important linkages between netball and football within Leagues and Clubs
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Highly developed IT skills particularly in Word and Excel
- Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
