MATTHEW White's injury-ravaged season has come to an end, with the Port Adelaide midfielder fracturing a cheekbone in the SANFL on Saturday.
Port Adelaide released a statement on the club website on Saturday night saying the speedster would undergo surgery next week.
White has only played the one AFL game this year after tearing his pectoral muscle in round one against St Kilda.
That injury sidelined White for nearly four months, and he had managed to string four games together for Port Adelaide in the SANFL before this latest injury.
In June he signed a one-year deal, contracting him to the club until the end of 2017.
White has played 41 games in three seasons for the Power, after playing 105 for Richmond.
