FREMANTLE'S midfield depth could be tested further with Lachie Neale racing to be fit for the crucial clash against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
The winless Dockers are already missing superstar Nat Fyfe, star ruckman Aaron Sandilands and recruit Harley Bennell from their midfield brigade, and now Neale is trying to recover from issues with his thigh and calf.
Neale had compression bandages on both his left thigh and lower right calf at the Dockers' light training session on Wednesday. He did some light running away from the main group to try and work his way through the soreness.
Lyon preaches patience on Fyfe
Hayden Ballantyne ran with Neale as he recovers from a heavy cork against the Blues. He looked to be moving reasonably well and did tell Channel Nine on Tuesday that he was aiming to play against the Crows.
Dockers skipper David Mundy will provide a much needed boost as he is set to return from a calf injury that has keep him out of the last three matches.
The Dockers are set to make at least two changes given they have lost both Fyfe and Michael Johnson from last week's loss to Carlton.
