FREMANTLE superstar Nat Fyfe is confident he will miss just one match after being ruled out of the Western Derby due to concussion.
With only a six-day turnaround after his heavy collision with Saints youngster Josh Battle before facing the Eagles, Fyfe and the Dockers won't take any risks this Saturday night.

"I've had a lot of injuries over my career and concussion still sits at the top of the list, so I'll be taking this extremely seriously," Fyfe told Channel Seven.
"The hard thing is I might feel fine but not sure what symptoms and damage is being done internally.
"The decision this week is that given the short turnaround, given how big the impact was that I'll sit out and look to reload and play next week (against the Giants)."

Fremantle football boss Peter Bell declared the decision was straightforward.
"Nat is still experiencing symptoms linked to the concussion and will not be available to play in the derby," Bell said.
"Based on the medical advice and Nat’s own account of how he he's feeling, it is the correct and only decision."

Fyfe can't remember clashing heads with Battle and only came to after being taken down to the Optus Stadium changerooms.
Some questioned why he wasn't taken from the field on a stretcher, but the Dockers skipper was grateful to club medicos for helping him the short distance to the bench.

"I've got no recollection at all of anything happening and was not in control of my own thoughts or actions or movements at all," Fyfe said.
"I think in those situations you have to deal with the individual and what they're doing.
"I was so close to the boundary, the medical team just ushered me off the ground and I'm pretty grateful for that."

Fyfe's absence leaves the Dockers with a mountain to climb to break a seven-game losing streak against West Coast.
It will be the second consecutive derby Fyfe has missed after he sat out the 58-point defeat in round 20 last year due to a hamstring strain.
