Richmond has dropped three in a row and a fourth to the Power will raise serious questions about their ability to pose a serious threat to the top eight. Port lost its first game of the year last weekend to North Melbourne, although another fightback was almost enough to steal a win in Hobart. Slow starts are hurting the Power this year – they've lost four of their six opening terms. The Tigers haven't lost an opening quarter yet, so unless the home side comes out punching, another strong second half might be needed to seal victory.

3. The Tigers' tackling remains a huge issue – they're ranked last for tackles laid this season. Port Adelaide have been more impressive, ranking sixth.
4. Port Adelaide’s defence has been impressive in 2013, conceding the second fewest points in the competition. The Tigers have let through more and are ranked 10th.
5. Damien Hardwick’s first win as Richmond coach was in round 10, 2010 and was against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.
6. Port Adelaide and Richmond met twice in 2012 – the Tigers won by 37-points in round six at AAMI Stadium before their round 23 clash at the MCG ended in a thrilling draw.
