THE BRISBANE Lions have launched an investigation after a number of members expressed concerns around their email privacy.
The 'Restore the Lions' Pride' members group sent an email to supporters, ex-players and some members on Monday.
The group, convened by former Fitzroy director Henry Pinskier, is disgruntled with the current boardroom split, and among a list of proposed changes, called for expressions of interest to join the board of directors.
The club was contacted by a number of members who were concerned about how their details ended up on the email list of the members' group.
"Some Lions members have since expressed to the Club their privacy concerns since receiving the correspondence," the club said in a statement on its website.
"The Club takes this matter very seriously and are looking into how this data may have been acquired."
