 		Matthew Leuenberger can see a future at the Lions through all the big offers from rival clubs …… then maybe all of us should as well.
Carlton
 		the Blues' match-day bench officials can fire up enough to accuse a counterpart as a "cheat", as they did last week post-match against Hawthorn (and have since apologised) …… surely everyone at Carlton can draw on the passion and fire up before the big hopes of 2013 get too far away.
Collingwood
 		Pies fans were disappointed to learn of Alan Didak's omission from the last game against the Bulldogs ...… they would have gained a greater understanding of why by match-end, with Kyle Martin and Josh Thomas showing the future is actually here now, and seems bright.
Essendon
 		Michael Hurley plays again this season against a team the Bombers are expected to beat comfortably …… he shouldn't. Just nurse him through this year, get him right in the off-season.
Fremantle
 		Zac Clarke and Jack Hannath keep going the way they are …… Aaron Sandilands' situation becomes very, very interesting. Remember, when Freo started its form roll last year, big Sandi was out.
Geelong
 		there was doubt about Jimmy Bartel playing this week, and there was because Chris Scott said so …… we reckon Jimmy would have stayed in the States for Game 7 of the ripping and gripping Miami-Spurs NBA series.
Gold Coast
 		there is a 19-year-old male in Australia with more things going for him than Jaeger O'Meara …… he is one very fortunate guy.
GWS

 		there were actually 6601 at Skoda Stadium against the Power last week ...
... there were pigs flying over the ground too.
Hawthorn
 		Luke Hodge was Jack Ziebell …… he'd be missing a bit of footy after his head-hit on the Blues' Henderson last week.
Melbourne
 		Melbourne players actually show some resolve in the remainder of the season …… maybe they are not the type of player you really want at your footy club anyway.
North MelbourneJack Ziebell did what Luke Hodge did last week when he contacted Henderson …… he'd be missing a fair bit of footy.
Port Adelaide
 		the Power can just hold it all together for the remainder of the season, and lose with pride …… 2013 will be judged a good season.
Richmond
 		Jack and Dusty don’t re-sign soon …
 		… this club's ability to allow itself to be affected by things that shouldn't matter may kick back in.
St Kilda
 		the Saints didn't stand down Stephen Milne for at least two weeks ...… the AFL commission would have. 100 per cent the right decision.
Sydney Swans
 		the Tippett acquisition actually works to the Swans' desired effect …… the 2013 premiership race is over. But don't take it as a given that it will work.
West Coast
 		John Worsfold isn’t going to be coach next season …… the Eagles have a ready-made replacement. Scott Burns.
Western BulldogsBrendan McCartney even slightly shifts his focus to ball movement at the expense of contested ball and clearances …… the Dogs will be dangerous at times. Going OK in the big picture.
