Dream Team fans will have the chance to win $3000 by participating in AFL Fantasy Match Day.
With everything on the line, fantasy players should consider including some dashing defenders when selecting their side.
Hawthorn's Shaun Burgoyne (DEF/MID) led the way for the Hawks last weekend with 129 points while Paul Duffield (DEF) top scored for the Dockers with 118.
Sam Mitchell (MID) was the top ranked Hawk midfielder on 119, with Docker counterpart Michael Barlow (MID) not far behind with 111.
However, the in-form players vary when looking at the last time the teams met back in round four.
Hawthorn, playing in its second consecutive Grand Final, will be hoping for a similar performance from Grant Birchall who was outstanding with 151 points earlier in the year. Isaac Smith (114), Burgoyne (113), Jarryd Roughead (112), Lance Franklin (102) and Luke Bruest (100) were among the Hawks to get into triple figures.
Fremantle, which lost that game by 42 points, was well served by David Mundy (103 points), Nat Fyfe (100) and Michael Walters (89).
So, if your Dream Team or AFL Fantasy Elite squad failed to fire or fell just short when it really mattered, here is your shot at redemption.
AFL Fantasy Match Day is a quick and easy game played over a single match.
Coaches go head-to-head with their rival in a one-game contest, with each coach selecting eight players – two defenders, three midfielders, one ruckman and two forwards – from the two competing teams.
The coach whose eight players score the most combined points wins.
