Paul Duffield [DEF, $445,100] has gone off the boil in the past two weeks, although there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Duffield has scored 72 and 66 AFL Fantasy points in his past two outings, but showed in the three weeks before that he could score with the best of them.
The Fremantle defender is an important player in the Dockers side, so he should receive plenty of opportunities to turn his form around.
Trade
A sub-par start to the season has seen Heath Scotland's [DEF, $351,600] price gradually diminish.
Scotland has been a shadow of his former self, generally playing second fiddle to his Blues teammates and is yet to have a Fantasy score above 100.
Hamish Hartlett [MID, $350,900] is tempting at that price, particularly after scoring 99 last weekend, but you know an opposition tag is in store for him.
Jarrod Harbrow [DEF, $382,100] has been in fine touch and should be strongly considered.
Invest
Michael Barlow [MID, $547,700] has been on fire over the last month - perhaps the most in-form Fantasy performer this season.
The Freo on-baller has averaged 127 points in his last four weeks, including an individual season-high 149 points against Melbourne in round nine.
Barlow's price is steep, but with the tear he is on at the moment, well worth it.
That hurts
A fractured cheekbone is going to keep Marc Murphy [MID, $390,800] out for up to a month.
Murphy dropped $36,000 in price after last round, so your options are more limited.
You could go two ways: bring in a youngster such as Tom Mitchell [MID, $108,500] and save some cash, or, a like-for-like in Hawks captain Luke Hodge [MID, $389,600].
Surprise packet
Surprisingly less than 10 per cent of teams own Garrick Ibbotson [DEF, $452,000], who is averaging 102 points this season.
Ibbotson scored 121 points against the Brisbane Lions on the weekend, collecting 28 possessions and 11 marks.
The Docker doesn't get the same plaudits as some of his teammates, but he does the job each week and consistently scores well.
The last word
This season AFL Fantasy coaches will have the luxury of operating under an improved and fairer system during the bye rounds, the last of which is this weekend.
It means you will score points only for your top 18 from your selected on-field starting 22, so you need to ensure your best players are still on the ground and in your starting line-up.
