Zorko started the season ranked No.298 in the competition, but he has shot to No.36 overall, with his impressive form through the second half of 2012 also taken into account under the ratings system.
Young Port Adelaide midfielder Chad Wingard moved from No.409 overall to No.59 in a brilliant season that has him in All Australian contention.
Teammate Travis Boak moved up 53 places to No.24 overall, while Western Bulldogs ruckman Will Minson jumped from No.219 to No.55.
Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield and Sydney Swans midfielder Kieren Jack were the only new players to move into the top 10 this season.
Dangerfield pushed up from No.15 at the start of the season to finish ranked No.2 behind Gold Coast star Gary Ablett.
Jack, meanwhile, lifted his ranking from No.19 to No.6 in a remarkably consistent season that saw him average 25 disposals and one goal a game.
Round 23 saw Ablett cement his place at the top of the AFL Player Ratings, building his lead over Dangerfield with 33 possessions and four goals against Greater Western Sydney.
Collingwood midfielder Scott Pendlebury had the highest score of the round, however, with 31.9, finishing the season in third place.
In a sign of the classy Magpies' efficiency, 30 of his 33 disposals against North Melbourne were effective – the second most effective disposals he has had since the start of 2010.
Of the players to debut in 2013, Gold Coast's Jaeger O'Meara amassed the most AFL Player Ratings points (249.4), followed by Collingwood's Sam Dwyer (183.4) and Josh Thomas (183.3), Port Adelaide's Ollie Wines (178.8.) and Richmond's Nick Vlastuin (167.7).
