Reporting to the Essendon Board, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing board decisions;
- Contributing to policy development at board level;
- Driving strategy to deliver sustained on and off field success;
- Evaluating and monitoring budgets and cost structures;
- Initiating and supporting new and existing revenue generating measures;
- Maintaining administrative control over the Club;
- Ensuring all statutory requirements of the Club are implemented and met;
- Oversee all general staffing needs; and
- Review and monitor staffing levels, structures and systems.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience within elite sport at CEO level;
- Ability to display vision and leadership with strong general management and relationship skills;
- Strong commercial acumen, innovation and conceptual thinking skills;
- Ability to drive sustainable change and make a difference;
- Professionalism and integrity; and
- High-level analysis, planning and advisory ability.
