A major issue for Brenton Sanderson and his Crows will be whether they can recover from their emotionally draining one-point win over North Melbourne in time for Saturday's match against the Dockers. Fremantle barely got out of second gear in its 90-point mauling of Melbourne last weekend, so will have to ensure it too arrives at AAMI Stadium switched on for what looms as a tight, contested battle.

THE SIX POINTS
1. Adelaide has won seven of the last nine clashes against Fremantle, with the Dockers' last win coming in round 3, 2011 at AAMI Stadium.
2. These two sides played each other three times last year – Adelaide winning all three by 29, 28 and 10 points respectively, the last win ending the Dockers' season in the second semi-final.
3. At AAMI Stadium, Adelaide holds a clear advantage over Fremantle winning 14 games to four including five wins by more than 50-points.
4. Fremantle is the number-one ranked defensive side in the competition, conceding an average of just 73 points a game. The Crows are ranked fifth conceding 85 points a game.
5. Both teams take plenty of marks; the Dockers are ranked second in the competition for number of grabs while the Crows have taken the fifth most.
6. Patrick Dangerfield, ranked third in the Official AFL Player Rankings, has been a standout performer against Fremantle in recent times – he collected five Brownlow votes in the two regular season encounters last year.
