RICHMOND and midfielder Reece Conca have mutually parted ways this week, reaching an agreement that he won't be at the club next season.

Conca, who spurned long-term offers from rival clubs to stay at Punt Road in 2013, will now search for a new home in the NAB AFL Trade Period.

The 24-year-old held discussions with the club this week and it is understood both parties agreed that ending their six-year association was the best move. 

Recruited with pick No.6 in the 2010 NAB AFL Draft, Conca has played just nine games across the past two years because of five separate hamstring injuries in-season. 

The Tigers did not announce Conca as part of this week's delistings, which included Liam McBean and Adam Marcon, and could yet receive compensation through a trade next month.

Conca was linked to West Coast as part of a lucrative four-year deal when he last came out of contract, but chose to stay at Richmond on a three-year deal.

The West Australian was also linked to Fremantle at that point but has failed to blossom as expected because of injury.

The Tigers will also be negotiating a trade for fellow first-round draft pick Ben Lennon, who has one year left on his contract but has informed the club he wants a new football home.

Lennon, who was chosen by the Tigers with pick No.12 at the 2013 NAB AFL Draft, has played 19 games in three seasons.

He was dropped for Conca for the club's elimination final loss to North Melbourne in 2015.  

Richmond forward Ty Vickery is also reportedly weighing up an offer to join Hawthorn as a restricted free agent.
