THE BIGGEST name to be sidelined this week is Josh Dunkley (MID $787,000) after scans confirmed the Bulldogs midfielder had suffered a syndesmosis injury in the left ankle. Dunkley was a Fantasy star in 2019 and as he looks set to miss at least six weeks.
From the Giants camp, there was massive news with Sam Jacobs (RUC, $533,000) being omitted to make way for Shane Mumford (RUC, $488,000) who will battle Brodie Grundy on Friday night.

Lachie Whitfield (MID/FWD, $728,000) passed his tests during the week after being concussed on just 10 points and he is joined by Toby Greene (FWD, $703,000) and Josh Kelly (MID, $822,000) who make their return.

However, the news wasn’t as good when it came to the rookies.
Fantasy coaches’ benches will be tested this week after popular selections Harley Bennell (MID, $267,000) and Marlion Pickett (MID, $255,000) have both been stood down for the week.
Warnie’s Rookie Radar
In round four, West Coast will debut Jamaine Jones (FWD, $223,000) and Carlton will unleash Sam Philp (MID, $232,000) who is renowned for his speed and endurance.
However, the pick of the debutants has to be Caleb Serong (MID, $256,000) who dominated the U18 Championships last year with scores of 89, 128, 151 and 90. Fremantle’s top NAB AFL Draft pick comes with a hefty price tag but appears to be worth every dollar.
Roy’s Top Trade Targets
1. Jy Simpkin (MID/FWD, $585,000) – 96 last week from 19 CBAs for the Kangaroos.
2. Lachie Neale (MID, $856,000) – Best player in the game right now, and not slowing down.
3. Marc Pittonet (RUC, $384,000) – He has a break-even of -14, our boy is still cheap.
4. Lachie Weller (DEF, $647,000) – This MID can be picked as a DEF and is averaging 82.
5. Chad Wingard (FMID/WD, $648,000) – Keeps getting it done and now averages 86.
Calvin’s Captains
In AFL Fantasy your captain scores you double points for that week. Here are Calvin’s top five picks for you to consider.
No. 1 – Lachie Neale v Adelaide @ the Gabba
It’s hard to look past Neale who is averaging 114 (BCV: 143) and is coming off a dominant 126 last week. The Suns scored 7x80 against the Crows in round three and Neale will be huge again.
No. 2 – Brodie Grundy v GWS @ Giants Stadium
Grundy loves playing the Giants where he has scored 164 and a career-high 181 last year, all against Shane Mumford, who returns this week for his first game of the season replacing Sam Jacobs. This will get nasty!
No. 3 – Max Gawn v Geelong @ the MCG
With Rhys Stanley out, Max Gawn will meet Darcy Fort. Sam Jacobs scored 80 against Fort in round one and with this one back on the MCG, Gawn should have a day out.
No. 4 – Sam Docherty v Essendon @ the MCG
After averaging 93 (BCV: 116) for the year, Docherty meets a team that Jake Lloyd dominated two weeks ago where he had 111. He is on fire and this match-up should keep it that way.
No. 5 – Andrew Gaff v Port Adelaide @ Metricon Stadium
Gaff has averaged 114 in his last three against the Power and sits at No.2 this year based on form with an average of 105. Port have been tough in recent weeks but based on form alone, Gaff should be 90+ once again.
