ADELAIDE has dumped 2017 All-Australian midfielder Matt Crouch but will persist with out-of-sorts former captain Taylor Walker in Sunday's clash with Brisbane at the Gabba.
The Crows' onball brigade copped a hiding for the second straight week and Crouch's 22 disposals weren't enough to spare him from the axe.
In Crouch's place comes Myles Poholke, who impressed in the pre-season, while exciting forward Shane McAdam will make his senior debut and recruit Billy Frampton was recalled.

Adelaide had already announced Paul Seedsman's omission on Thursday night, with a shoulder injury ruling out Rory Atkins.
The Lions regained All-Australian Dayne Zorko (Achilles) at two-gamer Tom Berry's expense.
Melbourne didn't play last week, with its scheduled match with Essendon postponed because of Conor McKenna's positive COVID-19 test, but the Demons have still made a selection statement.
They played an intraclub match at the MCG last Sunday instead and have decided to drop veteran Neville Jetta, only weeks after cutting fellow high-profile defender Michael Hibberd.
Hibberd is back to face Geelong at the MCG in what shapes as an early season-defining game for both clubs.
None of Nathan Jones, Alex Neal-Bullen nor draftee Luke Jackson made their way back – after initially being dropped ahead of the Bombers game – while Harley Bennell's omission was already confirmed.
Mitch Hannan, Aaron vandenBerg, Kysaiah Pickett and Jay Lockhart round out Melbourne's inclusions.
The Cats promoted ruckman Darcy Fort in Rhys Stanley's absence, with Jake Kolodjashnij and Brandan Parfitt also back in.
They managed Harry Taylor and omitted Quinton Narkle.
Unchanged Hawthorn has backed forward recruit Jon Patton to work his way out of his form rut and left Mitch Lewis waiting to play his first game of season 2020.
The Hawks' opponent North Melbourne was more ruthless, axing Mason Wood after two goalless games and defensive stalwart Jamie Macmillan.
Ex-Giants Aiden Bonar and Paul Ahern also lost their spots at the Roos, who regained Ben Cunnington (back) and Marley Williams and will blood Jack Mahony and Tristan Xerri.
