The AFL today wrote to all 18 Clubs and the AFL Players’ Association to advise the NAB AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft will not be held in 2020.

The health, safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in Australian Football at all levels remains paramount and the current situation relating to COVID-19 continues to impact Clubs, Players and Pathway Competitions across the country.

The AFL also advised clubs that dates relating to Free Agency periods, the Telstra Trade Period, the NAB AFL Draft and other List Lodgment dates will be advised at a later date.
