Hawk on the fly?
Hawthorn's two-time premiership midfielder Brad Sewell is on the trade table, according to The Age.
It reports the Hawks are exploring ways to free salary cap space as well as open up more opportunities for their brigade of younger midfielders, who have not been able to break into the powerful line-up.
The 29-year-old is under contract to the end of next year but the Hawks have raised his name as a potential trade if a rival is looking for a ready-made inside midfielder.

In-demand Magpie Heath Shaw could head to Greater Western Sydney having been offered a mega-deal by the League's youngest club.
News Limited reports the Giants have put forward a $4 million, five-year contract for the rebounding half-back, putting them in the box seat to secure the premiership star.

It is also suggested the Giants have discussed a possible coaching role for Shaw when his career is finished.
But Shaw's manager BenNiall said the figure was not accurate.
"You do get a bit of Chinese whispers at this time of the year," he told SEN.
"The basis of GWS' circumstances is that they are in a position where they have to make a compelling offer to people to move them, and he's certainly been made a compelling offer.
"But it's nothing like the sort of dollars that are being talked about."
As well as the first pick in the NAB AFL Draft, the Giants hold picks nine and 19, while the Magpies are chasing young GWS midfielder Taylor Adams, which could form part of a deal if Shaw departs.
Adams' manager Scott Lucas confirmed Collingwood and Geelong as his client's preferred destinations.
"It's the ability of those teams to get a deal done to satisfy GWS in many ways, but certainly those are the two that are really of a strong interest to him," Lucas told SEN.
"He (Adams) was pick at pick 13 two years ago, has played 31 games...I think it's somewhere around that mark in that 10-17 [draft pick range]. I'm sure that's what SOS (GWS list manager Stephen Silvagni) would like.
"If Collingwood become the No.1 preferred option and Heath Shaw is keen to go to GWS, that does make it easier to get a deal done."

It is expected Lance Franklin's stunning nine-year deal with the Sydney Swans could gain AFL approval as early as Tuesday, reports The Age.
The Swans lodged their offer last Friday when the free agency period opened, and officials from the club, Franklin, and his manager Liam Pickering have been interviewed by the League.
Dale Thomas could also finally become a Carlton player if, as expected, Collingwood does not match the contract the Blues lodged for the restricted free agent on Monday afternoon.
The Magpies have three days to match the offer.
