CODY Weightman will make his debut on Friday night when the Western Bulldogs take on Essendon.
The young forward has spent plenty of time learning from Mitch Wallis since arriving at the club late last year, and the veteran Dog presented Weightman his guernsey at training on Wednesday.

Weightman's burst of speed, overhead marking and brilliant goal sense are the hallmarks of his game, and should make him a fan favourite straight away.
Coach Luke Beveridge said the exciting small forward got through the Dogs' most recent scratch match against North Melbourne with "flying colours".
Weightman is the fourth young Dog to be unveiled this year, joining Ben Cavarra, Laitham Vandermeer and Louis Butler.
The 19-year-old earned All-Australian honours with a brilliant showing in the 2019 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, and also captained Haileybury College in school football.
