Gold Coast's impressive crop of young talent has been recognised once again, with gun midfielder Noah Anderson becoming the club's fourth NAB AFL Rising Star nominee in seven matches.

Anderson, the pick No.2 in last year's NAB AFL Draft, has been nominated after winning 15 disposals, seven score involvements, five marks and kicking a goal in Saturday's impressive victory over Sydney.

He joins teammates Matt Rowell, Connor Budarick and Izak Rankine in earning a Rising Star nomination this season, with the club's incredibly promising batch of youngsters driving the team's improvement so far this year.

Anderson, 19, is a precociously talented goalkicking midfielder who starred for both the Oakleigh Chargers and Vic Metro throughout a draft year that saw him rocket to the top of recruiters' sights, alongside his best mate and now Suns teammate Rowell.

He has enjoyed a promising start to his maiden season in the AFL system, playing all seven senior matches so far this year while averaging 14.9 disposals per game in a role on the wing.

Anderson capped Saturday's victory with a hard-running goal in the first quarter, where the teenager sprinted over 100m to finish an end-to-end Suns move before strolling into an open goal.
