Merchandise Sales Assistant
6 month fixed term contract

Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Merchandise Sales Assistant to join our Merchandise team.
Reporting to the Merchandise Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
· Assisting in the growth and development of the Essendon Football Club retail sales business including the Bomber Shop and on line Bomber Shop.
· Driving the Bomber Shop team to ensure we make a positive impact on all customers we engage with.
· Increasing sales and profitability of the on-line Bomber Shop
· Assisting the Team Leader in managing all retail operations of the Bomber Shop including in store marketing, stock control and loss prevention.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
· Proven experience in retail
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
· Outstanding communication skills
· Ability to work independently and part of a team
· Experience managing on line retail sales
