KURT Tippett will remain a Crow, for now at least.

The tall Queensland-born forward had been strongly linked to Gold Coast and the Brisbane Lions in the past couple of days but Adelaide CEO Steven Trigg said the club had no intention of moving on Tippett, who is contracted for 2012.

We have no intention to do any deals to trade Kurt and he will play for us in 2012," Trigg told The Weekend Australian.

Trigg also denied Tippett had an escape clause in his contract.

The Adelaide Advertiser reports that Adelaide dismissed a proposed three-way trade involving Tippett going to the Lions, Mitch Clark moving to West Coast and Brad Ebert going to Adelaide.

Ebert has nominated Port Adelaide as his club of choice, as has Fremantle ruckman Jon Griffin.

Three of Tippett's teammates do look set to find new homes next year with Ivan Maric, Jack Gunston and Tony Armstrong all requesting trades.

Maric has long been linked to Richmond, where he should go in return for a draft pick, while Gunston has declared Hawthorn as his club of choice. But North Melbourne has been circling around the forward as well.

Armstrong has been reported to be heading to Sydney to continue his career with the Swans.

The Crows are also reported by The Australian to be interested in St Kilda forward Tom Lynch, who has had limited opportunities in his three years at the Saints.

John McCarthy and Brent Macaffer could also be departing Collingwood as the Magpies look to ease salary cap pressure after consecutive Grand Finals.

Barry Hall has confirmed he won't be at Greater Western Sydney next year.

There has been speculation that the former Bulldog, Swan and Saint would come out of retirement for his fourth club next year but he knocked that rumour on the head like it was a pesky full-back that wouldn't let go of his jumper at the Bulldogs' best and fairest on Friday night.

"I'm not going to GWS for Christ's sake," Hall told the Herald Sun.

"I'm sick of hearing about it. I said no as soon as they asked.

"It's definitely not for me, I'm happy to finish as a Bulldog."

Another career that looked over does look set to re-commence with Collingwood linked once again to Irishman Marty Clarke. But it was revealed in The Age that Clarke was unlikely to come back to the club if Mick Malthouse was still calling the shots.
