Adelaide Football Club’s official website has averaged 100,000 unique users per month this year - an increase of nearly 50% on 2008.
But we are aiming to make sure afc.com.au remains the best online destination for Crows members and supporters who want to keep up with the latest news and information about the Club.
The players and coaches will play a much bigger role on afc.com.au in 2010 while our fans will also have the opportunity to become more involved.
Closer to the season we will reveal an exciting range of new programming that will keep fans both informed and engaged throughout the 2010 season.
There are also some important improvements and developments on the way, including:
Improved video: In recent weeks there have been some changes to the video player. By the start of the season a mini embedded video player will be on our home page and we will also have our own video module. At some stage in 2010, HD quality video will be available on the site.
Social networking: Adelaide has an official fans page on Facebook as well as a Twitter account but in 2010 we will also create a Crows community through afc.com.au
A new Crows E-Diary will soon be launched: Register now to be on the waiting list to download the E-Diary. The free Adelaide E-Diary is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with all the Crows’ happenings in 2010, delivering the match schedule, events and other items of interest direct to your desktop. E-DIARY syncs direct with your favourite calendar program. It’s a simple file import and completely safe. No applications or plug-ins required! Register here ... www.e-diary.com.au/crows
New kids zone: Claude’s World was successful in 2009 and will be expanded in 2010, with some new games and other exciting additions.
New photo gallery pages: A home page module will provide better range to match day and exclusive club picture galleries.
The popular tipping competition, Player of Year and Dream Team will also return in season 2010.
The players return to training from Monday, January 4, and have less than six weeks to prepare for the opening round of the NAB Cup pre-season competition.
