The Adelaide Football Club is one of two South Australian based teams competing in the Australian Football League. The Club’s administration and training facilities are based at AAMI Stadium, West Lakes. It has been in the AFL since 1991 and won the AFL Premierships in 1997 and 1998. Currently expressions of interest are being sought for the key role of Retail Sales Executive.

Reporting to the General Manager Supporter Services this position will be responsible for implementing a range of programs that will maximise sales of the Club’s range of membership and retail ticketing products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development of a range of retail ticketing products that will maximise sales of available inventory
  • Expansion and maintenance of the Club’s retail sales and prospects database
  • High volume customer contact and relationship management
  • Coordinating the production and distribution of ticketing and associated marketing material

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive sales targets in a competitive market. The ability to effectively and professionally communicate with potential customers at all levels is imperative as is the need for a thorough understanding of relevant sales processes.

Candidates with tertiary qualifications in sales and marketing will be highly regarded as will those with experience in events ticketing
