Spelly: Hi BJ, Happy Birthday for tomorrow! Do you think Grant Thomas will give you a dirt-bike for your birthday?

Brendon Goddard: I don't think it's on the agenda! ... but I wouldn't mind one!

Tassie_Saints_Chick: Hey Brendon, how is Dylan Pfitzner fitting in around the Club? Happy Birthday for tomorrow Brendon.

Brendon Goddard: I think he's doing really well, and I think he'll start playing in a couple of weeks.

carla_jose: Happy Birthday for tomorrow and I was just wondering ... did you have fun meeting the Crusty Demons? What did Thomo say about it?

Brendon Goddard: I played golf with Thomo today and he didn't say anything about it, so I guess it's all good!

carla_jose: Who do you usually room with when you go interstate?

Brendon Goddard: It's usually different, but I’ve roomed with Lenny Hayes, Justin Peckett, and Xavier Clarke.

Matteo: Hey Brendon, how did you cope with finishing VCE and playing football?

Brendon Goddard: I just made a choice to play footy and finish my schooling.

Ballisagun: Hey Brendon, you must be thrilled about how things are going, is it going to be hard for the guys to keep performing and keep their spots?

Brendon Goddard: I think that's the case every week when the blokes from Springvale are pushing up and playing well.

Matteo: Hey Brendon, Happy Birthday for tomorrow! Do you have anything planned for your birthday?

Brendon Goddard: Going out for tea with my Dad. My Mum and my sister are coming down in the afternoon.

Matteo: Hey Brendon, how is Robert Harvey shaping up after his soft tissue injury; will he play on the weekend against West Coast?

Brendon Goddard: I think it was just a minor concern about his calf and he should play this week.

saintz_rock: I think you’re a great player and I just wanted to know how do you think the Saints will go against West Coast this Sunday? ... and Happy Birthday for tomorrow.

Brendon Goddard: I think the home advantage will help, but if we don't underestimate them, we should do alright.

kyliepockets: Brendon, who do you think is improving most down at the Club this year?

Brendon Goddard: Good question - Dylan Pfitzner and Matty Ferguson have both come a long way this year.

torza: Hi Brendon, which current player do you admire, and who did you admire as a kid?

Brendon Goddard: I admired Kouta when I was younger, now it's not anyone in particular.

lenny_rox: I saw the nicknames of all the guys in the Herald Sun yesterday - what does 'pizza' for Dylan Pfitzner mean?

Brendon Goddard: Just because it sounds like his name.

Ballisagun: Nick Stone - his size and weight are really impressive, is he a chance to play, and how does he go?

Brendon Goddard: I think he's going pretty well at the moment, but it's hard getting a spot down back at the present time.

saintbrat: Who won the golf?

Brendon Goddard: Sam Fisher won.

sammy_g: What car do you drive?

Brendon Goddard: Subaru GT Forrester.

torza: What do you like to do in your spare time?

Brendon Goddard: Play golf and sleep!

_Loz_: How does it feel to be playing for a top side like St Kilda?

Brendon Goddard: There's really a big difference from last year ... a really special feeling around the Club when you're winning.

saintbrat: Are you studying this year or has Crippa organised something else for you?

Brendon Goddard: I’m starting a personal training course at the end of this month.

mattyz_babe: My mum wants to know ... did Fraser draw the short straw and have to wear Milney’s shorts last Saturday night?!

Brendon Goddard: Ha ha - he does wear tight shorts, but I think he prefers them to the loose ones ... but I don't think he cares too much!

SignedSealedSainter: Hi Brendon, I play footy for interschool sports and because I'm a girl I sometimes feel weird. How can I stop this?

Brendon Goddard: You have to get a kick and show the boys you can really play footy!

Munga: Happy B'day BJ. By season's end, what position do you think you'll be playing?

Brendon Goddard: Good question - probably in the midfield or half back.

kyliepockets: Brendon, what has been the highlight of your career/life so far?

Brendon Goddard: My first game.

_Loz_: Who do you think from the 2's is good enough to play with you boys?

Brendon Goddard: I think they are all good enough, and that's why the pressure is on.

Boko: Happy birthday for tomorrow Brendon. How’s your school’s footy team doing?

Brendon Goddard: Pretty poor this year - they've lost all 3 games so far.

carla_jose: Do you think there are more pressures on you because you were taken at pick no. 1, or is everyone the same?

Brendon Goddard: I think once you get to the footy club you are all the same - you all have to perform.

Ballisagun: You must be really pleased about how all the young guys are going, and you’re no exception. There must be a really good vibe around the place, and are we looking to be a genuine force for many years, like Brisbane?

Brendon Goddard: I think everyone else is putting those big statements around, but of course we'd like to.

surfie_saint: Are you getting used to people looking at you when you are walking down the street?

Brendon Goddard: It's just one of those things you have to get used to ... you can't think you're different from anyone else just because you play footy.

BJRULZGOSAINTS: Brendon, have you ever had a serious injury?

Brendon Goddard: Touch wood I haven't - I’ve only ever missed one game with a sore hammy.

surfie_saint: When you are playing at the Telstra Dome, can you hear all the supporters cheering and yelling, and does it put you off your game?

Brendon Goddard: No, you can only really hear when you're running around the boundary or on the bench - not really so much on the field.

Brendon Goddard: Thanks everyone for coming along, and sorry about being a bit late – Cheers!

Brendon Goddard: Thanks for all the Birthday wishes too!

Note: Brendon was a couple of minutes late logging in because of technical issues at our end.
