TEAMS: Crouch brothers together for first time as forward dropped
ADELAIDE'S Crouch brothers will play together for the first time as the Crows dropped Matthew Wright for Sunday's potentially finals-defining match against St Kilda.
Wright's omission was confirmed on Friday as one of four changes made by the Crows following last weekend's loss to North Melbourne.
Matt Crouch's recall will see him play alongside his older brother Brad for the first time at senior level.
Aside from Wright – who has missed just one game this season – Luke Thompson, Rory Laird (concussion) and Charlie Cameron have made way for the return of Brent Reilly, David Mackay and Sam Kerridge.
St Kilda defenders James Gwilt and Dylan Roberton have come in for Sam Gilbert (foot) and Tom Curren for the match at Adelaide Oval.
Cameron McCarthy, the No.14 pick from last year's NAB AFL Draft, will debut for Greater Western Sydney in the final match of the home and away season against Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.
McCarthy is one of five inclusions for the Giants with captain Phil Davis and defender Curtly Hampton returning from injury, while Liam Sumner and Zac Williams have been recalled.
They have come in for Adam Kennedy (shoulder), Mark Whiley (hamstring), Tim Golds (concussion), Jono O’Rourke (hamstring) and Sam Frost (omitted).
The Bulldogs have given last year's All Australian ruckman Will Minson a reprieve after dropping him last week, while fellow talls Fletcher Roberts and Tom Young have also been included.
They have replaced Jordan Roughead (shoulder), Ayce Cordy (omitted) and Lin Jong (omitted).
In the early match on Sunday between Gold Coast and West Coast at Metricon Stadium, the Eagles have confirmed four changes including the recall of ruckman Nic Naitanui as they hope to still be alive for the top eight.
Naitanui is back from an Achilles niggle and is joined by Scott Selwood, playing his first game since ankle surgery following round 12, Elliot Yeo, playing his first game since breaking his hand in round 13, and Blayne Wilson.
They have come in for Mitch Brown (foot), Mark Hutchings (hamstring) and Dean Cox (soreness) and the omitted Dom Sheed.
Gold Coast has named experienced defenders Matthew Warnock and Greg Broughton to replace Trent McKenzie (hamstring) and Timmy Sumner (omitted).
