The new Victor Trumper Stand was unveiled to an audience of over 2000 people on Sunday, December 7th, with a great turnout from Swans fans keen to see the new seating area.

Located on the old Hill, the stand was named after Victor Trumper (1877-1915) in honour of his outstanding contribution to cricket, rugby league, rugby union and Australian Rules football.

On the day, fans were keen to get up close and personal with the stand's star attraction, 'Yabba'. The statue, of SCG regular Stephen Gascoigne, was created as a tribute to every spectator who has ever been to the grounds.

The Victor Trumper Stand features:

• State of the art stadium design and facilities
• Over 9500 excellent seats on the concourse and under cover
• A selection of Platinum, Gold and Silver seating categories
• Wing seats spanning either side of the 50 metre line
• A 500 seat dining room and modern conference facilities
• Sweeping views over the Ladies Stand to the city skyline
• Two rear terraces and 20 food and beverage outlets
• Direct access via Driver Avenue by escalators, lifts or stairs
