Team of the Decade

Matthew Bishop debuted against Port Adelaide in Round 5, , 1998 at the MCG as a player for the Melbourne Football Club. He moved to Port Adelaide in 1999, and debuted the following year. He was an integral member of a successful defence, able to play on a variety of forwards, and was famed for his long runs out of the backline that could often result in long-bomb goals from the 50 metre arc.
