AUSTRALIA’S NEXT TOP MASCOT
Think you have what it takes to be a professional mascot? Essendon Football Club are looking for the ideal performer, and this is probably the only chance you will ever get to do this!
Do you have what it takes to be Australia’s Next Top Mascot? We are not looking for the boring or the lame, the ordinary or the mundane, nor the normal or the unnoticeable. In fact, whatever notions you have about mascots, throw them out the window!
We are committed to excellence in all that we do, and that includes our mascot. We are conducting a nationwide search to find top contenders for this position and to make their dream job come true. We are seeking a dynamic group of interesting candidates who are exciting to be around, who think quickly on their feet, who are unpredictable, who like to roll the dice, who are the life of the party, who think outside the square!
Fun, athletic, energetic, crazy, creative, spontaneous, driven, passionate, playful, interesting, cheeky, responsible, imaginative, spirited, affectionate, charismatic… these are a few of the descriptions that we are looking for in our candidates.
Our private audition process is being managed by a 16-year professional American mascot, who has performed in the NHL, NFL, NBA, and much more. The auditions will take place over a two-day period - March 11th and 12th - at Windy Hill venue. But first - you must get invited to the auditions!

Video Requirements:
• Length: Maximum length is five minutes. Anything over five minutes will not be considered.
• Content: This video should show off your personality (in costume or not), your passion to perform, any skills that might aid you as a mascot, as well as anything else you want to include to surprise us. BE CREATIVE!
• All entries must be received by February 29th, at which time our casting team will select and invite only the top few candidates to the performance auditions.
