A FRESH scandal is engulfing Fremantle, with leadership group member Bradley Hill in hot water for an incident at a Scarborough nightspot on Sunday evening.
The Dockers have confirmed Hill is under police investigation for breaching a move on notice and giving a false name after being refused entry to a licenced venue for trying to jump a barrier about 10.30pm.
The speedy wingman is also facing a club sanction for drinking alcohol while injured and failing to notify the club of the incident in a timely fashion.
Hill, who won the Doig Medal in his debut season at Freo, has been sidelined by bone bruising in his knee since round two.
The 24-year-old is understood to be at least several weeks away from resuming.
Hill, a triple-premiership player at Hawthorn, has been recalled from club leave after Sunday's incident.
"We are disappointed with Bradley’s actions on the night and his behaviour is at odds with a player who is in our leadership group," general manager of football operations Chris Bond said.
"Bradley is currently on club approved leave and has been recalled to the club so we can further discuss his version of events.
"Once we have completed that process will be in a position to advise of what sanction he will face."
Hill's incident is the latest alcohol-related off-field issue involving Fremantle players over the past 12 months.
Injury-plagued star Harley Bennell was exiled by the Dockers for eight weeks in January, ordered to undergo counselling and slapped with a $15,000 fine ($5,000 suspended) after being involved in a scuffle with a nightclub bouncer at a Fremantle bar.
Bennell missed the Dockers' first training session of the new year after drinking an "excessive amount of alcohol".
Meanwhile, youngsters Brennan Cox and Luke Ryan were banned for one game last July after drinking alcohol after the Western Derby with only six days before Freo's next match.
