AFL BOSS Gillon McLachlan says the League has yet to decide which two clubs will be based in the Cairns mini hub after three games were locked in for Far North Queensland.
Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Friday that the matches will be staged at Cazalys Stadium, which has previously hosted games for Gold Coast, the Western Bulldogs and Richmond.

McLachlan said the clubs would be based there for 3-4 weeks but it was unclear who would be on move.
"I don't think it's decided as yet. There's an agreement and understanding we'll have some games in Cairns but we haven't worked out which teams," he told 3AW.

"We've played games up there before and there's surprisingly great depth and strength of AFL up there and it's a good thing for footy.
"It's a great football area, we've got a good venue up there, we've got an opportunity to promote football in the region and to take the game to people up there."
The AFL this week locked in the fixture from round nine to 12, with the Cairns games expected to follow in the next block of rounds announced.
Queensland has become the centre of the football industry this season as the AFL pieces together its fixture after the second COVID-19 wave hit Victoria and saw all teams moved to Queensland.
The state continues to lobby to host this year's Grand Final, with Palaszczuk and McLachlan holding discussions about the possibility if the MCG is unable due to Victoria's second wave of COVID-19 cases.

But the AFL chief executive said a call on that was still some time away.
"They've been great to us Queensland, and I think it's very clear Queensland would love to have the Grand Final as would other states. At the moment I don't have anything to add other than what I've said," he said.
"The Grand Final is at the MCG, it's contracted, and until things change or there's anything alternate that's where it will be. If it's not there, then obviously Queensland's a fabulous option."
