For the first time since round 11 2008, Geelong will wear its alternate jumper in a match. The Cats will don the predominantly navy blue design when they face North Melbourne in the NAB Cup at Etihad Stadium on 21 February.

The design, which features the ‘Cats face’ in the middle of the jumper, proved popular when the team wore it in 2008.

Geelong is required to wear the jumper in ‘away’ games against North Melbourne. With the only clash between the club’s last season played at Skilled Stadium, there was no need for the Cats to wear the jumper.

It is expected that Geelong will wear the jumper for most, if not all, of its four pre-season games this year. The alternative jumper is available to the public through the Cats shop and on-line at geelongcats.com.au
