COLLINGWOOD has dropped Jordan Roughead, Matt Scharenberg, Atu Bosenavulagi and Rupert Wills for Sunday's clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

The Magpies will also be without Callum Brown after he rolled his ankle during the 66-point loss to West Coast.

Returning to the Magpies' line-up will be vice-captain Steele Sidebottom following his four-match suspension for breaching COVID-19 protocols, along with Brayden Sier, Jack Madgen, Travis Varcoe and Irish debutant Mark Keane.

The Dockers have axed recruit Blake Acres and Bailey Banfield, while also going out of the team will be former Magpie James Aish, Darcy Tucker and Michael Walters due to injury concerns.

Aish has concussion, while Walters and Tucker will both miss due to hamstring injuries, with the latter ruled out for the rest of the season.

Superstar skipper Nat Fyfe is back from his own hamstring injury, while he will be joined in the side by Brennan Cox, Travis Colyer, Mitch Crowden and Connor Blakely for his first game of the year.

Gold Coast will go into its clash with Greater Western Sydney unchanged, while the Giants have brought back rebounding defender Zac Williams in for Daniel Lloyd, who has had surgery on a broken finger.
