Garlett joined Melbourne in this month's trade period and the Blues also put Robinson up trade. But there were no takers for the Tasmanian with rival clubs understood to be mindful that he was likely to be delisted if Carlton could not broker a deal.
However, Robinson, who played 100 games with Carlton over six seasons, is likely to appeal to clubs as a ready-made player, with the Brisbane Lions having already been linked to him.
Lucas was the No.12 pick in the 2009 national draft but attracted only moderate interest in the trade period, with West Coast deciding not to make a play for the midfielder.
The West Australian played just 42 games in his five seasons at Visy Park, including seven this year.
The only season Lucas played more than eight games with the Blues was 2013, when he played 17.

McLean turns 29 before next season and is unlikely to extend his AFL career at another club.
McLean crossed to Carlton from Melbourne in the 2009 trade period, with the Blues giving up pick No. 11 for the midfielder (the Demons used that pick to select Jordan Gysberts).
The inside midfielder played 63 games for the Blues, having overcome a slow start at Visy Park that saw him play just 10 games in his first two seasons.
McLean was the No.5 pick in the 2003 national draft and played 94 games for Melbourne in six seasons, finishing second in the Demons' 2008 best and fairest award and third in 2006.
Carlton football manager Andrew McKay said McLean, Robinson and Lucas has each made a "considerable contribution" to the club.
"After 100 games with Carlton it is time for Mitch to have a fresh start and we wish him all the best in his football future," McKay said.
"Brock has been a loyal servant of our football club and was in our leadership group this year, while Kane is a terrific young man but unfortunately he struggled to cement a spot in our senior side this season.
"On behalf of the club, I wish all of these players the very best for the future."
The Blues have now farewelled 10 players from their 2014 senior list, with Heath Scotland (retired), Nick Duigan (retired) and Josh Bootsma (contract terminated) departing during the season, and Garlett and Jarrad Waite leaving during the player exchange period.
