BRISBANE is breathing a sigh of relief with Charlie Cameron a chance to play on Saturday after confirmation there is no structural damage to his injured knee.

After leaving the field, he had the knee strapped and returned for a few minutes, before finishing the game on the bench.

Cameron had the knee scanned on Monday, with high performance manager Damien Austin saying the 26-year-old had pulled up well.

"There doesn't seem to be any structural damage from his scans," Austin said.

"There's a little bit of swelling there and he also rolled is ankle in that incident.

"We'll see how he is later in the week."

With a seven-day break, Brisbane has its main training session on Thursday before playing North Melbourne two days later.

In further good news for Brisbane, former No.1 draft pick Cam Rayner is healing quickly from the hamstring injury he suffered last week against Richmond.

Austin said Rayner ran at the weekend and would be included in skills on Tuesday before being assessed later in the week.
