MELBOURNE fitness boss David Misson will finish his role at the end of 2019 as his family prepares to move to Canada.
Misson, who has been at the Demons since 2011, was previously at St Kilda.
"My wife (Catherine) resigned from her role (as principal) at Melbourne Girls Grammar last year – she finished up in December," Misson told melbournefc.com.au.
"She was approached about a school in Canada – Havergal College in Toronto – so she went through the recruitment process and was lucky enough to land the role (as principal)."
He said the Dees wouldn't be affected for the upcoming campaign.
"I'll do the whole season, I'm not going over until mid-December this year, so it will be business as usual really for me in terms of my role at Melbourne," Misson said.
"Hopefully there's a bit of incentive there to take it one step further which would be nice."
Melbourne lost a preliminary final to West Coast last year.
