BRISBANE captain Dayne Zorko is the pick of the new DPPs rolled out for AFL Fantasy Classic and Draft making him the fourth highest averaging forward.
A group of 20 players who has been playing in a different role than their initial Fantasy position were awarded dual-position status which adds flexibility for the last six rounds of the season.
Zorko has lined up as a forward in 45 per cent of his game time and is now available as a MID/FWD.
While injury affected his early season form (he averaged fewer than 60 points across the first half-dozen rounds), his last five scores of 88, 88, 94, 115 and 107 has taken his average to 80. Zorko’s ownership is set to skyrocket this week as coaches look to upgrade in their forward line.
ADD DEFENDER
Adam Tomlinson’s first year as a Dee hasn’t been one to remember. Despite some promising numbers in the pre-season, his highest score was 75 in round four. His last three have been 32, 35 and 43. Disappointing for those expecting a BCV mid-70 average like in his last two years at the Giants.
A score of 92 in round nine had Fantasy Classic coaches excited, but Sam Mayes’ value has not risen enough to make him a pick for the salary cap game – considering his most recent score was 31.
Consider Wil Powell as a Draft bench option in defence. He scored 67 on Monday thanks to 13 disposals a nine marks. Since switching to the backline, his numbers have increased.

ADD MIDFIELDER
Players who add midfield are usually the least relevant of all DPP additions, but they do add some flexibility.

ADD RUCK
Oscar Allen has played all but two games this season and has posted three scores of more than 80, aka a BCV ton. Lending Nic Naitanui a hand with ruck duties, Allen has been able to pad the stat line across the board and is now a worthy option as a back-up ruck; especially if Naitanui is rested in the coming rounds.

ADD FORWARD
A lot of coaches had Dayne Zorko on their radar as a pure MID based his recent form that has him averaging 105 in last three. Now, he’s basically a must-have and still value in Fantasy Classic due to his breakeven of 51.
Isaac Smith is listed as a ‘test’ this week as he aims to return from his shoulder injury. His 65 average isn’t reflective of his season (and Fantasy ability) due to his injury occurring when he was on just eight points. Smith has two 99s to his name this year and has a relatively easy fixture coming up including the Crows in round 15. Grab him in Draft if he’s available.
