Richmond's Tom Lynch also has been forced to front the Tribunal after his third striking charge of the season, this time on Essendon's Michael Hurley on Saturday night.

The specific findings of the strike on Hurley weren't released by the MRO but it follows Lynch's previous striking charges on Suns Jarrod Witts and Sam Collins in round 12.

While there is no rule that states three charges results in a player being directly sent to the Tribunal, Christian has the option to under the 'three and subsequent' clause and acted on it when coming to his findings on Sunday.
