The AFL advises the Tribunal will sit tonight, Tuesday August 25, to hear the charges laid against Port Adelaide's Sam Powell-Pepper and Geelong Cats' Luke Dahlhaus. Melbourne's Ed Langdon, Richmond's Dylan Grimes, Richmond's Nick Vlastuin and Adelaide Crows' Lachlan Murphy have elected to challenge their charges through a written submission to the Tribunal. All other players accepted their sanctions from the Match Review of Friday – Sunday matches of Round 13 of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a one-match sanction.
