GEELONG has recalled veteran pair Harry Taylor and Zach Tuohy for Friday night's crunch clash with the Western Bulldogs.

The Cats have made only two changes for the important Metricon Stadium meeting, with Esava Ratugolea and Jordan Clark omitted.

Ratugolea's absence leaves the Cats with key forward Tom Hawkins the only tall target in attack as they race to lock in a top-four spot.

Skipper Joel Selwood will miss a second straight game with a minor knee niggle.
