THE QUICK turnaround between rounds due to condensed fixtures can be a positive for coaches who have had a tough week.

The Traders are licking their wounds after some disappointing performances in the first week of finals.

Finals were disappointed by some poor scores from the some of the most selected players in Fantasy Classic. The second and third most selected players, Lachie Whitfield (52) and Dustin Martin (28), scored well below their usual output.

Winners of the qualifying finals will skip round 16 after booking their place in the preliminary finals. The losers of the qualifiers and the winners of the elimination finals will play off this week for a spot in the round 17 prelims.
