IN THE SAME week his season was put in jeopardy with injury, Brisbane's All-Australian fullback Harris Andrews has signed a monster contract extension.

Andrews has inked a deal that will keep him at the Gabba until the end of 2025.The 23-year-old was already committed for next season and added a further four years to his existing deal."I love the club and I’m a proud Queenslander. I couldn’t imagine playing or living anywhere else," Andrews said.

Andrews was ruled out for up to six weeks following a hamstring tear suffered against Collingwood last Friday night, an injury that could keep him out of the Lions' team until the preliminary final should they get that far.

Now in his sixth season, the Brisbane Academy product has played 110 games and developed a firm bond with coach Chris Fagan.
