Pride will be on the line this Sunday as North Melbourne and Richmond do battle in the fourth annual Eureka Game.
In partnership with the City of Ballarat, the teams will be hoping to emulate the values of Eureka - teamwork, courage and commitment.
Created to honour the workers of Australia and educate football fans on the impact of the famous Rebellion, the Eureka Game was first played in 2008 with the Kangaroos saluting by 41 points.
In 2009, the teams fought out a memorable draw, before Andrew Swallow and North Melbourne reclaimed trophy last season - a silver plated Sovereign Hill gold pan.

To further celebrate a remarkable moment in Australia's past, supporters will be treated to a variety of entertainment before the bounce.
The Eureka Fan Zone, situated on the concourse outside gate 5, will feature plenty of activities, music, face painters and more for the kids to enjoy. The Kangaroos' mascot Kanga and selected players will also be on hand.
Once you've entered the stadium, enjoy the sounds of Chooka Parker, an Australia's Got Talent finalist proudly born in Ballarat.
The Eureka Game forms part of North Melbourne’s strong community partnership with the City of Ballarat. Each year the club holds a community camp and conducts country visits in the region. The Roos also have a number of multicultural ambassadors based in Ballarat and partnerships with the Ballarat Football League, the North Ballarat Football Club and the University of Ballarat.
The Huddle has also established a program for primary school students in Ballarat that is running throughout term three.

Exclusive members' deal at Sovereign Hill
A day at Sovereign Hill is a day full of Gold Rush fun and adventure.
By day, start with a coach ride to get your bearings. You’ll love our Clydesdales and it’s easy to hitch a ride on Main Street. Around town you can shop 1850s-style and visit some of the ‘locals’ at home, at school, at work and at play. Follow the Redcoats as they march up Main Street... but stand back when their muskets go off.
If it’s gold you’re chasing, take an underground mine tour and see a $140,000 gold pour. And if you really want to strike it rich there’s plenty of gold in the creek, ‘finders-keepers’!
By night, Blood on the Southern Cross can't be missed. A spectacular multi-million dollar sound and light show set across the entire Sovereign Hill site presents the drama of the 1854 Eureka Rebellion on the Ballarat goldfields.
North Melbourne members will receive 10% off the price of entry upon presentation of their membership cards.
Want to win a double pass to the game?* Send an email to web@kangaroos.com.au and tell us which player won the Eureka Medal in 2010. Include your full name and contact details.
