Captain Nathan van Berlo, Jason Porplyzia and David Mackay are among the candidates for vacancies in Adelaide’s team for its last NAB Challenge game on Friday.
At this stage, however, it is not clear how many spots will be available because of injuries.
There will be no further information about Brodie Martin (knee) or Ian Callinan (arm) until later today and Kurt Tippett (ankle) and Ricky Henderson (concussion) are yet to be ruled out.
Van Berlo has not played since straining a hamstring in the first round of the NAB Cup while Porplyzia (foot) and Mackay(hip) pulled out of Friday’s game against Carlton.
Jared Petrenko (abdomen) and Daniel Talia (Achilles) are also in the selection mix for Friday’s game against Richmond at Visy Park. The game starts at 4pm (Melbourne time).
Adelaide trains this morning, has a closed session on Wednesday and then a light run on Thursday (from about 9.45am).
