Adelaide’s official Twitter page last night passed the 10,000 ‘followers’ milestone.

The Crows has had an official Twitter presence for two years and it is continuing to grow in value as a communications and engagement tool.

There is no doubt Twitter has developed into one of the best sources of Crows information - providing breaking news through to game scores and updates, behind-the-scene photos, reminders, injury reports, links to video, press conference highlights, ticket offers, game day info, alerts, some discussion, trivia and random thoughts.

It has also helped create a community of like-minded fans, some of whom have developed friendships based around their interest in the Crows.

There are also a number of our players active on Twitter, including Kurt Tippett (3100 followers), Sam Jacobs (2842), Bernie Vince (2781), Brodie Martin (1460), Brodie Smith (1326) and, most recently, Ivan Maric, Andy Otten and Phil Davis.
You can follow the Adelaide Football Club and players if you have your own account on the micro-blogging network.

Even if you never use Twitter to ‘talk’, you can still use it to follow the teams or people you want. Pop along to http://www.Twitter.com and open a free account.
