Each win or loss over the next three weeks could have a major implication on whether or not teams will still be alive come September.
Obviously the teams still fighting for a chance to play in September are Hawthorn, Kangaroos, Melbourne, Carlton and of course us.
It is hard not to think about how upcoming results may affect our chances, but it is really important for us as a team to understand the importance of each game and invest all our energy into it.
We cannot be thinking of finals now, as Roosy said during the week, “It would be un-Swan like”. So our focus has to be on winning our next three games, and then other things will fall into place. Each win increases our chances of playing finals.
This week we travel to Perth. We go over this afternoon to get well acclimatised and give ourselves the best preparation as possible.
So as far as finals go…….
