ADELAIDE
"Commercially we are really pleased. We have four games at home in our two preferred timeslots against teams that traditionally draw strong crowds at AAMI Stadium.
"Our run home into the finals is difficult but we do not play outside of Adelaide or Melbourne until August which is a great result.
"We believe next year's fixture allows the club to maximise the potential for stronger home crowds, and we will have a strong focus on providing a great match day experience for our supporters." - chief executive Steven Trigg
BRISBANE LIONS
"The fixture contains great news for both our Queensland and Victorian members and supporters.
"Our new rivalry with the Gold Coast Suns will kick off in round seven with the return match in round 21. Both games are at the Gabba and we look forward to giving a strong Brisbane welcome to our South Coast adversaries.
"Our Victorian fans will also be delighted with six games in Melbourne, with three being held at the MCG.
"In fact two of our first three games will be in Melbourne, giving our Victorian members an exciting start to the season." - chief executive Steven Wright
CARLTON
"It's a great result for our supporters, giving them the opportunity to see their team in the flesh at the MCG or Etihad Stadium 18 times during the home and away season.
"It is another positive reflection by the broadcasters on the development of the club in recent years that we have been granted prime time games.
"We are once again excited to be part of the season opening match against Richmond and are privileged to play the Gold Coast in their first-ever AFL game.
"We are comfortable with where our byes have been allocated, and our four interstate matches are spread evenly throughout the season, with nine matches in a row in Melbourne during the middle of the season." - chief executive Greg Swann
COLLINGWOOD
"Maintaining a fixture of 18 games in Melbourne is fantastic for the club and I'm sure the Magpie Army will enjoy the fact that no interstate games in the first half of the season means they will be able to maintain their energy from last year's premiership win.
"Collingwood will play 14 games at its home ground, the MCG, including 11 blockbuster games against traditional rivals including St Kilda, Geelong, Essendon, Carlton, Richmond and Hawthorn.
"Collingwood will use the Carlton blockbuster game in round three to unfurl the premiership flag at the MCG in front of its home ground crowd." - chief executive Gary Pert
ESSENDON
"Our view as a club is that all good sides in this competition should be prepared to play any team, at any ground and at any time." - general manager of football operations Paul Hamilton, courtesy essendonfc.com.au
FREMANTLE
"In addition to seeing Fremantle take on Carlton, Essendon and Hawthorn at home, our members will have the opportunity to see the club up against the reigning premier Collingwood, the 2009-2010 grand finalists St Kilda and the 2009 premiers Geelong.
"We are also pleased that after being denied the opportunity to play any qualifying games at the MCG in 2010, the AFL has agreed to our request to play more games at the home of football next season, with three of our away games scheduled for the MCG in 2011." - chief executive Steve Rosich
GEELONG
"While we have received a fixture that is generally sound, our remaining point of contention is that for the second year in a row, the club has been given only seven home games at Skilled Stadium instead of the requested eight.
"The club understands the difficult position the AFL has with the sheer volume of requests it receives, however, on our list of requests, our highest priority was for 11 home games to be broken down to a minimum of eight at Skilled Stadium and the balance at the MCG against Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, St Kilda or Hawthorn.
"Our fixture, while not perfect, does allow the club to continue to provide members, fans and supporters with an experience that is unmatched in the AFL today." - acting chief executive Rob Threlfall
GOLD COAST
"We're extremely pleased with our draw in our very first season in the AFL. In essence we've got exactly what we would have liked.
"Our request to the AFL centred around the ability to bring some of the big Melbourne clubs up to the Gold Coast to reward all those people who've come on board and supported us on our journey.
"We have opportunities to play in Perth, Adelaide, Tasmania and Cairns. It's a fair bit of travel but that's not an issue for us. Our players are in the big league now and they have to learn quickly how to win games on the road. It also gives a great opportunity to showcase our club and what we stand for all over Australia." - chief executive Travis Auld
HAWTHORN
"The club is reasonably happy with our draw and at the end of the day there will always be positive and negatives with any fixture.
"We are pleased that we can continue to service our members across two markets with seven home games at the MCG and four at Launceston's Aurora Stadium. The club will now look to finalise four further make-up games for Hawthorn members at the MCG.
"There are some exciting games for Hawks supporters in 2011 with 11 games at the MCG, including a blockbuster home match against Geelong, and home games against St Kilda, Melbourne, Essendon and Western Bulldogs. We also look forward to taking on the reigning premiers, Collingwood, at the MCG in round 15.
"Our Easter Tuesday blockbuster against Geelong in round five is particularly exciting being a public holiday and the only game scheduled for that day.
"Whilst we again have some challenging travels as part of our fixture, great teams win on the road and we look forward to that challenge in 2011." - chief executive Stuart Fox
MELBOURNE
"There are many positive aspects in the 2011 fixture for the Melbourne Football Club. We are particularly pleased with 13 games at the MCG overall and three at the beginning of the season.
"Interstate travel is also down on 2010 with only one trip to Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and no game in Sydney. This combined with well spaced byes in rounds five and 16 represents a positive outcome from a football perspective. However, this lack of travel does mean we will play more interstate clubs in Melbourne which can impact on attendance and other commercial outcomes.
"Overall the fixture provides a good outcome for our club in 2011 and whilst it is our clear preference not to play a home game at Etihad we understand the complexities of a17-team fixture." - chief executive Cameron Schwab
NORTH MELBOURNE
"Playing Collingwood in our first home game of the year is a fantastic result and is a strong incentive for our members to join up early and see us take on the reigning premiers.
"We also have home games against Richmond and Melbourne early in the season so we can continue to build on our rivalries with those other young teams, and a Friday night blockbuster home game against Carlton in round 19." - chief executive Eugene Arocca
"Our interstate travel is well spaced out through the year, we only have four six-day breaks between games and won’t travel for the last month of the season, so we are more than comfortable with the fixture." - chief of football Donald McDonald
PORT ADELAIDE
"We're really upbeat about the fixture, we think it serves us well from both a football and a commercial perspective.
"In a football sense, we are very happy with where our byes are placed, and we also don't have many six-day breaks.
"Overall, we have a good mixture of Saturday and Sunday games, with at least five of our home games at AAMI to be under lights, including against the Crows, Hawthorn, Carlton and Collingwood." - chief executive Mark Haysman
RICHMOND
"It is a challenging draw from a football perspective, but while our young team is evolving, they will benefit from playing in some big games, particularly early in the season.
"We think it is a really good fixture for our members, supporters and corporate partners, given the fact that we play a large number of games at the MCG, and have more Friday night and Saturday games, which our fans will appreciate.
"The number of interstate games we have later in the season will provide us with a great opportunity to build our brand nationally, and expose our young group to travel, which is a reality of modern-day football." - chief executive Brendon Gale
ST KILDA
"The 2011 fixture is a powerful fixture for both our interstate and Victorian-based members and is appropriate recognition of the performance that has been delivered by the playing group over the last three years.
"Next year's draw is a well-balanced draw that sees us play many blockbuster games, but more importantly also has strong audience appeal." - chief executive Michael Nettlefold
"We are delighted to have extra games at the MCG in season 2011. We have great existing exposure at Etihad Stadium and the increase of six games at the MCG is important for our playing group." - senior coach Ross Lyon
SYDNEY SWANS
"We were very keen to get a Friday night game and we're happy it's against Carlton who we had such a great match against in the elimination final this year.
"There's a good mixture of games on Saturdays, Sundays and then the Friday night so we hope that will suit all our different fans.
"We had very healthy crowds this season in Sydney and we believe this fixture will allow us to build on those.
"The byes are well-placed in a football sense, and all in all we're very pleased with the draw we've been given. Most of our requests were met." - chief executive Andrew Ireland
WEST COAST
"We had requested to play Richmond in round one as part of our 25th year, but this has not been possible.
"However, we can be satisfied with just two night matches away, which will assist our heavy travel load. The timing of the byes in rounds five and 15 is also pleasing.
"From the point of view of rest and recovery for the players, it is a good draw for us with just three six-day breaks, and we would like to thank the AFL for considering this aspect of our draw." - chief executive Trevor Nisbett
WESTERN BULLDOGS
"From a football perspective we are pleased with the draw, we are travelling less than we did in 2010 and our two byes are spread well throughout the year.
"We have lost a couple of Friday night games compared to the 2010 season but we will be playing more games on Saturday, which I am sure will please our fans. From a commercial perspective it is not a strong as we would have hoped for but we will work hard to maximise our opportunities.
"We have put a great deal of effort into building the AFL and the Western Bulldogs brand in the ACT and we look forward to continuing this journey. We will not be travelling to Darwin in 2011 but in saying that we look forward to taking our supporters with us for our first game on the Gold Coast in round 14." - chief executive Campbell Rose
