Joined the Kangaroos as a part-time development coach in 2007 and was then promoted to development coach, working primarily with the club's forwards.
Lamont has extensive coaching experience in the TAC Cup with the Eastern Ranges and the Oakleigh Chargers and in the Eastern Football League with Ringwood. He was also a premiership player with Werribee in the VFA.
A VFL premiership player with Werribee in 1993, Lamont will again work with the Tigers as North’s development coach in 2011.
